Start with the problem.
Technology changes. Frameworks change. Interfaces change. Good thinking survives all three.
There is a kind of project that begins with a tool. The team has chosen the model, the framework, the platform. They would like someone to make it look inevitable.
We ask a plainer question. What is actually stuck? Who feels it? What would be true if it were unstuck?
The answers are rarely technical. They are about a decision nobody can make, a step that should not exist, a thing customers cannot see. The technology is how you answer. It is a poor place to start the sentence.
This is also why we do not describe the studio as a transformation practice. Nothing is transformed by vocabulary. A product is either more useful than it was, or it is not.
If you are early, bring the problem in the state you have it. If you are late, bring the thing that is not working. Both are a blank page. One of them just has old ink on it.
